this has been around for awhile now i've seen on which one is the better and are both 360 exclusives and are the biggest game out their for the 360 that everyone wants
well don't forget halo is mainly about online play and if i remember correctly you can make your own maps or something aswell and put it up on their site and servers to play?
Halo was good (back in the day when they still had blood glitch and warthogs only had chain guns) halo 2 was a good expansion. but with halo 3 they totally killed the franchise. and now i thought theres going to be halo reach?
anyways, gears is good. i liked gears one more then two because it was so unique and the first of its kind back when xbox first started.

The first on are always the best because they are new then at the 3rd one (like halo) becomes old.

Seriously! what ever happed to strictly only killing aliens with HUMAN weapons. Now they have mutant monkeys, flying annoying library things, giant scarab tanks and dont forget that nasty looking thing in ODST... wow just wow. thats why i say screw halo and play madden or dragon age

i play left 4 dead or batman gotta love killing hoards of zombies and batman is awesome
Halo represents a skeleton of what a shooter is. It makes the online play interesting because you have to be creative and efficient to do truly well. The story is engaging but there is more to be done with it.
Gears has more eye candy and options so its better in that sense. The story is much more in depth, at least in the second game. Though halo is coming out with their spins offs to fill story. Also Gears brought back the hoard mode in shooters, a mode I've always loved and was part of the popularity of Gears 2 and resulted in every shooter to get a equivalent mode.
Truthfully I prefer Halo. Less complicated, though I've never really devoted time to Gears. I just played through the stories.
I played gears a few times but I just did not really like it. Just could not get the hang of it.
But I used to play halo all the time, and I loved it but now its really boring cause I reached to a 50 and now I play 50's all the time. "I'm not saying I suck"
Its just when I don't play halo for like 3 weeks or so cause I'm playing call of duty MW2 or some other game. I try to come back to halo and I'm all crappy. So I get frustrated really fast and I end up not playing halo anymore
GOW is boring the online gameplay sucks and its only a small amount of people and maps

Correct, Halo is way better.
In Halo there isn't outrageous amounts of blood. ( I don't need to see gallons of blood hit me in the face... ) I find Gears of War kind of disturbing actually...
