Easy Weapon Upgrading [MW2]
What you need:
2 People (including yourself)
Timing

Instructions:
Start a party with only you and your other person
One person waits at the Party Screen highlighting the hosts name
The host must then search for a 3rd Person Cage match
The second person must quickly then click on the person's name and "Join Game In Progress"

aka- You and the other person are in a 1vs1 match

Pick a spot in the map to continuously meet and each person takes turn getting a kill (prefferebly a headshot)
One person at the end will have 19 kills
The other will have the winning 20

Bonus: You verse the same person over and over and over on different maps and you just continuously upgrade your weapon attachments :3

Other bonuses- Great for completing challenges and leveling up

Yeah this works alright, but the best way is to make use of the private ranked match glitch where you can set a ranked room to unlimited time and the only way to actually finish it is if someone sets off the nuke. Not only do you get a few hundred thousand exp, you also get a few hundred kills depending if you're good enough/have the patience to play the same map for that long.

and how would you go about doing this?

I just watched the video Torian posted, looks like a sweet method to getting fast xp. And the one you are referring to Danny Boy is commonly called boosting (I don't think you mentioned the common name), me and my friends used it in Modern Warfare 1 to get the camos on guns rather than actually taking the time to go for headshots in the real game.

An even better method is by riot shield boosting.
You go on hardcore ricochet, and you use one man army.
With someone on your team you have them unload one rpd clip into their sield. Once thye clip is done you both use one man army and switch classes. You take turns doing this. gets you about 30,000 exp every four rounds if you do it right. Takes no time and levels you up quickly. I have only done it once, but it worked...

This thread is about weapon upgrading, not exping. You cant get much weapon upgrades through boosting riot shield. There's a topic outlining riot shield boosting anyway.

Close your eyes and click the 3rd person team tactical option in ranked matches. 80+% of the chance, you'll land in a glitched domination match on rust. Also protip, you gain exp and killstreak rewards by even killing your teammates.
