My wii now has a orange light instead of a yellow light when its on but it still has a red light when its off. the wii works perfectly bit i was wondering if anyone knows why the light has turned orange instead of yellow.

Do you have the component cables plugged in?

Maybe unplug for two minutes, then plug back in.

Google tells me, you have WiiConnect24 on, goto settings and turn it off.

Since it doesn't affect game play, you really shouldn't matter about that much unless your really disturbed by the different color.

Well no, since changes like this indicate something. better to find out and deal with whatever it is now, than go "ah, I'll ignore it" and have it turn out it was warning the Wii was about to come to life and eat your TV later.

Yes, but the color of the lights on the Wii generally mean next to nothing. Red=Off and needs resetting. Orange=What I usually get when it's off. Yellow=Never got. Green=What I get when it's on.
