I don't play gaya anymore but it sounds like this could be worked to our advantage on banning users we hate...
If you put in a username of someone you hate followed by a wrong password will that account still get banned for attempting to login?

I ment the actual account, i know it gives you a temp ban for 15 minutes if you fail logins, but I'm wondering if entering someone else's name followed by a bad password will still ban them.

Well I'm just wondering if you could go to the ban page, enter someone else's name. Say an ex's account and still get the account banned even with a bad password.

(god this isn't rocket science.)

Prolly just get banned for like 15- or 30 minutes, I read the rules again it said you can only get banned from Gaiaonline if you do something VERY severe and that there are no such things as unfair bans, since everything is logged or something.

They are banning even more also, because today, I had 4 accounts banned. The accounts were created yesterday.
Before, it only took them 1-2 days to ban.

The only way I see someone NOT getting banned is if you hack a moderator, Omni Mod at least and completely erase your username from the Database or Moddog, that way they don't even know if you exist, your post count, or your username, while you can have fun posting or cybering in towns.

I'm pretty sure there was one mod who is a member of LG, saw one post long ago before the meltdown of the thread. Can't remember the name though.

He mention like since he's mod, he can't be banned

Anyone can be banned, I bet the other admins can take Lanzers Power away if he abuses it.

Thats what they do when a mod is hacked, they ban it and then reset the password.

and about that user I think there was an announcement about it here at LG, but lets not get off topic.

I don't get why everyone is complaining... I have an account that I hack and bot with like 24/7, i've had it for like a year now and it hasn't gotten banned. If everyone keeps getting banned, then you must not be doing a good job at hacking.

Banning isn't a problem for me... It's like anything I do I don't get banned for. Perhaps it's because I'm actually active and stuff? That's what you should do, in addition to hacking and botting inconspicuously, you need to get friends, roleplay in the forums, and send private messages, invest a little money too, that lowers your ban rate significantly.
