Question regarding Patches on gaia
When they patch glitches on gaya, Do they patch them Per browser?

um...whats a better way of explaining this.. o.<

Ok lets use the rally announcement thing from a few years ago.
They patched it.
Did they patch it through browsers, or did they patch the programs being used?

I ask because if it is patched through browsers, then I have an old tutorial on how to make your own custom internet browser from scratch, and if we could use that then maybe the won't be patched?

its hard to explain. o.<

I'm going to assume that its the programs and not the browsers that are patched.

yes I was thinking that too, but then I thought "well patching the programs is pointless because like WPE, there are about 40 other programs that can do the same thing. So how come nobody has tried those yet? And if they have then it hasn't worked, so which way are they patching it from?"

Gaia has code that makes it so when you use packet sniffers it closes out of rally or whatever, that is why there are rally clients that can send packets with ease.
#5
Gaia doesnt patch against a specific program (eg - WPE pro)
They patch the exploit that is allowing WPE program and other similar programs to access the data.

literally 'patching'
is like fixing a hole in a shirt they cover it up and block out whatever might get through that hole

and refering to gaia

they block that kind of data sending and hence it is 'patched'

no matter what program
