gaia prohibits all off-site links. thats the reason. too much hacking and too many idiots.

there are also other things that gaia does to prohibit hacking or anything with off-site links. any post made in the forums on gaia must be edited to actually have a link in them. and any site name on gaia will instantly get replaced and censored with ****. LogicalGamers for instance is instantly censored.

Even small things can be seen as helpful. Plus some people don't really read the Announcements that they post.

Fyi: My brute is frowned upon by Gaia as they consider it to be soliciting since you get crap for people using your referral. It was in the Staff Forum.

I never put links in my signature. I always get them taken out or some shit that violates Gaia's TOS. Now I just put quotes in from famous people.
