Having better fish doesn't equal better aquarium.
you need to go in there everyday and feed them, check the guides to see the fishes preffered temperature and lighting, etc and then it should be all good.
The longer they are happy the happier they get. Keep feeding them each day and you should start to notice better prizes. One time i got 10k from the overseer. That was before all my fish died :/
Make them happy. There are some guides in the aquarium section.

use the guides given on gaia to give your fishes the highest hearts
