Hello LG,
I'd like to ask you a question - if you can see properly you can see it in the title:
Why do you go on Gaia online still - if you do at all.

Myself?

I go on to see the stupid decisions that they make - the fuck ups and the communities feedback.
I am sticking with the ship until it completely sinks. I'll be there with popcorn too.
Recently Gaia's plan is (obviously) making gold completely useless.
Effectively making it "Pay 2 get the avatar you want."
3 Releases of Flynns Booty
500k for teal box.
Release of "Flynns Chest" in Verge.

What's Flynns chest? An upgraded booty, for $10 you're guaranteed 1,000,000 Gold from each one.
Up to 250,000,000 Gold.
Edit: Apparently the average win from a chest bundle is 20,000,000 Gold.

Do you even bother to try to make gold anymore?
Do you spend cash on Gaia?

I myself don't do either anymore, not worth it.

The the Flynn's Booty and Flynn's Chests have caused massive inflation in the marketplace. I was working on one of the wing quests before the update with easier access to the formula came out, and holy crud have the prices skyrocketed for caches. It's bloody ridiculous.

I do. It's called SmashBlox.
The amount of gold it's pouring into the system is probably worse than the chest and booty.
I think someone done some math and it came up to near 2 billion gold each day.
If it's permanent, well - pft It'll make the sinking ship of Gaia sink quicker.

I only fuck with it to sell gold & fuck around a little bit. Flynn's Chest's produce like 90k avg btw, but you can win more. All the chest and bundles are is a bundle of singles and a bundle of bundles

because it's a nice time waster tbh. especially late at night because the internet is boring.

You're mistaken.
Flynn's CHEST has a MINIMUM of 1,000,000 Gold.
Flynn's BOOTY has a MINIMUM of 50,000 Gold.

Two separate items.

Because due to smashblox and the re-re-re-releases of flynn's booty and chest, gold is now worthless.
Inflation is at an all time super-high, so much in fact that many 03'ers have stopped spending money on gaia as a revolt.
Gold sinks are in a dire need, otherwise the website's economy will never recover.

I usually just stick with Gaia Online because of the artists in the Art Shops forums. As well as advertising myself to the vast number of art collectors there who are willing to shell out some cash on art.
Gaia Online should seriously get some major gold sinks. I enjoyed exchanging and vending back then but ever since the prices went up to crazy amounts, I suddenly lost interest a

Mostly because of friends. And that little bit of dopamine when you make a nice outfit.
