What changes would you like to see in the Gaia Forum
I'm currently in the process of cleaning up the Gaia Forums, and figured I'd ask you all what (if anything) you would like done with the forums.
We especially need to raise user activity and contribution.

Well i think you had the right idea with the events so I think we should do more of that once in a while that i think is what pushed users to take a glance at python and programming so who's to say next time they won't actually attempt and ask for help or something.

Monthly item giveaways to someone random that posts quite a bit in the Gaia section? Should promote healthy activity. It doesn't have to be large ticket items. Personally, I post things regardless, but it might get non-active users to start contributing.

Well outside of giveaways, what else is there? If you all have noticed, I've been trying to organize the Public Programs section, and am currently trying to decide how much junk threads I should let through into the forums. I want to keep a fairly hands off approach for the most part, but the Gaia forum does need some organization done to it currently.
I'm already going to see what I can do on a monthly contest.

If you do giveaways you should separate those into a different subforum
so people know where to look, or just make that for anyone who wants to give away any gaia related things

I believe this forum once had it, but because of a sudden increase in people handing out freebies, there should be a sub-forum devoted to that with a post restriction to keep non-active members from snatching such. It would also clean up the main page from freebie clutter and leave extra room for people who have questions about Gaia.

Right now there aren't any plans on new sub forums yet. At least not until we get more users here. If we add too many sub forums right now it'll just cause the place to seem emptier. I was considering making a thread dedicated to people posting accounts they give away, but it's kind of making the forum have some life right now as opposed to just a single thread.

Hmm...yes, understandable. Social engineering is probably already in the works, yeah?

I released an early version of my Ad Bot, but it was agreed to move it to UG so it couldn't be patched. I'm considering placing it on a server and running a couple hundred or thousand of accounts on it.

You should give it to like 5 other people who you know are going to run it and a mass mule creator and then all 5 of the users just use a proxy and create and send messages

...What I wouldn't do to get access...Haha I would volunteer to run it if you were to send it to 5 other people like Storminq's request, but I have been much too busy lately. But if you ever do want people to use it, I would volunteer if I am not too busy.

I can run it mostly from a server with very little interaction from me. Just somewhat busy lately, and would need to edit in multi-threading and tweak it so it won't cause time outs. Once there's some more input on it I'll decide if I'll release it out for everyone to use.
