Thoughts on Chance Items?
I love gambling. It pretty fun opening Chance Items for a chance at a victory.
However, recently I discovered an unverifiable pattern:
You have a better chance at profiting from CI if you use it within hours of it's release.
Though you cannot verify that this is an accurate statement, I have much experience with this cash shop item to know a pattern when I see it.
Hell Prison, October 2010: I was online when they were released, and I bought 3 single use items. 1 fail, 1 victory (MP value: 500-600k), and 1 Ivan victory (MP value: 2-3m). I sold the two victories, reinvested it, ended the night with 5.8m.
Jack Frost, December 2010: Bought a few bundles with my Hell Prison gold, profited 2.8m that day.
Club Limbo, January 2012: Had 2.5m from selling my prized Emeraldback Lion earlier that day, new CI came out, bought two bundles, got 4 victories. Reinvested, finished with 7.5m.
Now, this may sound like extreme luck, buy here is where it gets interesting.
I GO BANKRUPT THE FOLLOWING WEEK.
That's right, as soon as I attempt to play the same CI I earned millions on the following week, no luck. It may be a gambling problem and I don't know when to quit, but the odds of winning shouldn't change like that, unless staff had something to do with the success rate.
