Never use web based proxies if you can help it.
I suggest installing something like foxy proxy if you have fire fox.
It's really simple. C:
Just find list of working proxies.
A good site for that would be. Anonymous Surfing & Free Proxy List
Just manually add them into foxy proxy.
The IP address/proxy is everything before the : and the port is everything after the :
What you want to look for is 100% Up time also keep in mind the country.
The closer the country is to you, the faster it will normally be.

You could also use Hotspot shield for proxy. I think it works for all browsers b/c I use Google Chrome and Firefox.
