Gaia never does IP bans EVER ('tis what everyone tells me) so I doubt its an IP ban....are you using a common proxy ? I don't think your the type to use web-based so I doubt its that

Also, are your cookies cleared and on and what not ?

No, that's not what an IP ban looks like. You would try logging in like normal, and say that that account is banned, even though it isn't. (Most of the time). They NEVER ban you from the site itself, just from logging in. That's just a common error, just clear your cookies.

Common sense Boo. It couldn't get the reason why you were banned and provide it in the background to back up that you were banned in the system.
