is this a joke? account help

my cousin cant login and she only just joined gaia last night shes a noob i dont think anyone would hack her since she only has noob items

can anyone help me or have any suggestions about logging in, i have her user name and password, her ip address might have been used for hacking on gaia like how hackers have static ip addresses, i dunno but she tried resetting her password and it said "you are trying to change another accounts password nice try" and she said she had'nt changed her password from when she joined

That would mean she got hacked...I think.
Try and explain things more clearly since you say she can log in while you say it like she can't log in...

case sensitive maybe?
or try clicking forgot password?

i tried that with her and it sent the password to her email and when she tried to login with it, it wouldn't work and it wouldn't reset either!

Its a common glitch. Wait atleast a day, maybe two.

People don't choose who they hack. They put the lure out there and take whatever fish comes to it, blind what the fish is until they've caught it. If your cousin put her information somewhere it shouldn't be, then she may have very well got hacked.
