Discuss?

Also, does anybody know if the other upload sites work?
#2
it should work if you use a url shortener

using things like tinyurl makes gaia give a warning.
#4
well it depends on the user
if the user wants gaia to give them a warning then they will
but if the user doesnt then it wont

I believe the option for it is automatically ticked, so most people don't really untick it.
#6
most people leave it tick, 'cos the threat of not being helped if hacked is too great a risk for them
#7
So I guess then flps, fmps, etc. are now out of use...
#8
well just because gaia gives them a warning doesnt mean that they still wont go

Then they'll know it's a scam.
#10
Yea when i try sending a pm to people it says 'To protect the security of your account, this URL cannot be accessed through Gaia Online.'

For like Flp's and FMP?

You do know that it still gives the warning right?

Try sending a pm yourself.

Then preview the link and see if it works.

Until one actually works, you're just providing sites that are blocked :/
#13
actually iamwilliam is right it gets thorught the pm
thanks man.

it always shows warning
but they probably wont know its a scam
just say " omg check this out [link]"
they'll be tempted to click it more even if there is a warning[/link]

Sites other than t35 work. Gaia has to block each domain manually. Go find another one.
The Gaia warning has been there for ages, and there is no bypass for it. FLPs are SoL in that department. FLWs can still be hosted on other sites besides t35 to avoid the block.

god some people are so dumb

of course it will show the warning. But the trick is to make the flp so believable they fall far it even with the warning. Naturally alot of people don't fall for it with the warning on, so essentially flps are pretty fail. Gaia has won. We are now bad at hacking Gaia

Anyone who used an FLP was bad at hacking Gaia in the first place.
Anyway, I can't wait to see how long it takes 'em to block FLWs. I actually read a tutorial just today on how to block FLWs server-side. Sexy code. Can't wait to implement it. :)
