Races and Jobs
What, in your opinion is the best job to take in addition to the secondary race you can choose?

Right now i'm a level 20 human-vampire, and my job is a vampire-hunter ( ironic, no?), and yet, it seems to have no real pluses that are added to your character overall. I mean, you can say that you are part something else now, but it doesnt do anything really.

I think its all pointless unless they make some kind of addition that can be done to your character, like special abilities or something.

You can take basically anything. Class doesn't affect secondary race much, if at all. Basically, you can change it by doing one single training mission for any class trainer.

I realize this, but what I am saying is taking on that second race and job should give you some incentive to stick with it, I mean, it literally does nothing for your stats to be one thing or another, and I'm just saying that it should.

I use trainers :)

But yes, classes are bullshit, thats why I stay a human :)

But then you dont really get a wide scope of what the game has to offer. If you just stay human, you dont get to do the little missions and quests that let you get more into the game. You just roll with it,

I say that is really just neglecting the users that actually play Adventure Quest. They should at least give a little incentive to keep playing their game.

As of now they've been busy fixing all the old imbalances, it may take a while, especially if they start off on the new story arcs, or a new build change.

Still, this is something that should have been in place the second they were done with the game's beta version. There is no need for the classes and race to not have discerning abilities.

Wasnt there a like a were-vampire race added?

Yes, the Werepire was added but is only available to Guardians higher than level 20/25. And even then its completely pointless.

I use it when I have nothing better to do or just stay human.

well since there is no real plus to having a secondary race, you may as well stay human. theres no incentive to pick another race.

I was thinking of becoming a Guardian, but then I said fuck paying money for it, if i really wanted it that bad, i would buy it on LG first. That, and i dont care enough to pay money for it.

Races are practically useless.

well since there is no good thing about picking a particular race, there is no "practically" to it. Races are completely useless.

Supposedly, there will be an impact later on in the storyline (yeah right), but the only real effects come from the class armors and what side your fight for in vamp vs werewolf wars. With that in mind, dracopyre is a pretty sick class. :)
