Made in GIMP, using a technique I learned before i got photoshop.
I was adapting my other tutorial for GIMP, and got bored, so i made this.

It's one of my favorite techniques. The line fading is a bit choppy, but I could do better if i tried.

This one was a freebie xD

i realize how hard that must've been to achieve in GIMP but in photshop it's rather simple.

You actually know what bokeh is?
Sweet.

It's really easy to do in gimp, just low opacity brushes of various sizes, in the color of whatever light source you want to be creating the effect.

Yea. that was like one of the first things i learned when i used gimp. simple yet effective.
