Web Design?

Have any of you guys studied web design? Majoring in it? Minoring in it? Had a class on it? Read a book on it once? Flipped through the pages at the local library before deciding you hated it?

jQuery is the shit, that's all I know.

I've been playing around with starting some things with Initializr, seems pretty legit so far.

jQuery is development, not design though. I mean, save the animation features.
