Eternity Keys (Silver and Gold Versions) - Feedback?

These aren't in my shop, but they're two of my favorite pieces that I've made so far. They're made with 33mm Swarovski silver and gold crystal flowers and smaller Swarovski flatback gems. The gold accents on each are hand painted. They took me a couple days each to make and I really love how they turned out. I was wondering if you guys could provide some feedback on them and let me know what you think. I havent set a price on these yet either, so if you have a suggestion for prices too I'd love to hear them ^^

The second one is just breathtakingly amazing, but the first one needs a little bit more gold, I think
The butterfly wings also need something, they look like they're just there :<

Thanks so much! The first one is the silver edition, so there only a few small touches of gold, and the second in the gold edition so its got a lot more of it. ^^ As far as the wings go on the first one, I'm not sure what to add to accent them. Maybe outlining the outer edges and the edges of the holes in the wings with gold or maybe a shimmery kind of purple...I have a nice purple paint that might work. hmm...

...and I just realized my typo in the title XD gah I cant fix that either...

The purple and gold accents actually sound really fancy, you shoul definitely try that

Also, you can edit the title when you go to the advanced view when editing your post, but I fixed it for you already

Ah I didnt know that XD but thank you for fixing it too! I'll go ahead and try painting the wings on the silver one and post a new pic once its done ^^

I would love to buy one of these eventually XD They're amazing, good work. keep it up you could make a lot of money from personalized jewelry.

Thanks ^_^ I'm glad you like them! Not sure on a price for them yet, but the other pieces I have in my store right now are all $20 and under, I try to keep my prices pretty reasonable, and I have a sale planned for later this month as well so I'll keep you posted on that ^_^.

I like the silver one, the butterfly wings look great.
For some reason the gold one throws me off even though you've got the same setting with a different pair of wings.

I feel like it might be because there's too much to focus on, those wings have been done time after time after time, it might just be lacking the colour coordination and might probably look better with gold.
Purple accents on the wings sounds really good to me. it sounds really good. We're talking about colour accents for the butterfly wings yes?
It'd be really cool to make it like a royal monarch. I think so anyway.

Where are you getting these key bases from?
I see everyone going around doing creative things with them, and I just don't know where these have been supplied from.
I'm getting kind of curious because I'm seeing them absolutely everywhere.

They keys I bought off of amazon, but most of my other supplies I buy are from craft shops around where I live and from Wholesale Beads and Jewelry Making Supplies - Fire Mountain Gems and Beads

And yea regarding the wings, I used a purple paint to outline the holes in the wings then used a black paint to border the outer edges of the wings. I'll have some pics up tomorrow or saturday if I have time, I've got a craft show saturday, and I'm going up to Bangor (about an hour from me) tomorrow to some shops that are interested in my jewelry.

XD Yes they exist, there's actually a lot of them around here every month. Best way to find them if you're looking to either visit or sell is to google "Craft Fairs" around where you live. I found the best one for where I am is http://www.maine.info/events/craft+shows/june.php

I can find listings for current and future events, as well as contact info for reserving booth spaces for listed events.

How much do these usually go for?

I havent set a price for the Eternity keys yet, I was hoping to get a few suggestions for the price since I'm not sure what to ask for them. I was thinking 40$ for these but again I'm not sure. ^^' The other keys and stuff on my website are all 20$ and under though.
