How to: make an animated pixel guy [VIDEO tutorial]
I'm posting too much in this forum...
Hey so this is how to make an animated pixel guy, like the street fighter standing animation or something. I don't know, I've never played that game.
This is the finished product, you can probably do better, it only took 30 minutes to make.

Hope you enjoy (in HD)

Cool, cool.
Looks way easier then what i've been trying to do.

I've previously been trying to draw each frame out myself.
Dissecting the art is a really smart idea.

-edit.

Agh.
That's photoshop, yes?
I know nothing about photoshop and don't have it. /tableflip.

I draw each frame in flash, but photoshop isn't meant for that kind of animation so I do it the easier way there :P

It is photoshop, you can torrent it if you want it

Ah, okay. Good to know.

I think I will. Sooner or later if not now.
I do want to practice random little artsy things.

I think you should of made all the pieces separate from the beginning (head, arms, body) and skip the whole cutting the pieces up part. Probably would save alot of time. Anyways, cool tut ^^

For me, it's harder to make individual pieces in the beginning because that would be harder to keep the proportions :P
