What's in your kit and what'd you use to shoot the bird?

You mean in my bag? ^^ I use a Canon EOS Rebel XS (1000D) and a 70-300mm IS USM lens. I also have the kit lens, the 18-55mm. I use the 18-55mm for landscapes and such. For the bird, I used the 70-300mm. Once I can make quite a few sales I will be purchasing the 5D Mark III.

Nice, the 70-300mm I read about on Ken rockwell's website, and was thinking about getting. Definitely now since I see it gives such nice shots. Thanks for that. Keep up the good work!

I highly recommend it. Of course it isn't as sharp as an L lens, but it gives good results none the less. :3 I paid I believe $300 for it Used - In Like New condition on Amazon.

The anti aliasing on that banner is terrible.
It also could've easily been made transparent.

But the pictures are nice, good job.

Word of advice, Don't buy the Mark III. Go for the Mark II, nearly the same thing - considerably lower price. (Source: Studying Cinematography).

I have never been good at making banners to be honest. I might redo it later and make it transparent.

Thank you. ^^

When I go to buy, I probably will not be worrying much about price. haha I am thinking about getting a 1Dx, or a previous 1D. I really cannot make up my mind between the 1D and 5D. Both great cameras. I guess I will just have to cross that bridge when I get to it.
