[Photoshop]How to make a Userbar
First make your settings like mine.
Imageshack - capturecn
Your image should look like this now.

Rename layer one to background.
Imageshack - capture2na
Now find a picture off of google and right click it and go to copy image.

Then go back to photoshop and press ctrl+v.

Now, grag the photo to the postion you want it to be.

Make a new layer and name it scanlines.

Now go to file new and make your settings like mine.(This is for your scanlines)

Now hold ctrl + + To zoom in untill its at 3200%

Click and hold your paint brush then select Pencil.

Then put 3 squares going in any direction you want.

Then go to image at the top of the screen and go to fill and make it look like mine.

Now you can close that and go back to your userbar.

Now, you want to select your scanlines layer.

Then go to edit at the top and go to fill.

Select Use patten and then select the scanline you made.

Then press okay. And it should look like this.

That looks ugly. So now you want to go to were your layers are and make the opacity to 23%

Now. Make a new layer and name it. Border

Now press ctrl + a

Now go to edit at the top and choose Stroke.

Make your settings as mine.

Then press okay. Now press ctrl + d to deselect your userbar.

Now make a new layer and name it ellipses.

Now you want to go to your rectangular tool. Click and hold it then select the elliptical tool.

Now. Click and drag it on to the image like i did.

Now press ctrl + delete.

And now it should look like this.

Then go to your layers and make the opacity to 23% again.

Now press ctrl + d

And your ellipses should now look like this.

Now make a new layer and name it text.

Now you want to choose the text tool.

And make your text settings like mine.

Vistor font download here!

Now you want to click in the bottom right of your userbar and type your lg username.

I would post what it looks like finished but my computer wont let me use my vistor font for some reason.

You should add this:

The next step is to define your pattern, choose Layer>Merge Down, then Select>All, and Edit>Define Pattern.


Otherwise good tut.

Idk.

I use the [ I M G ] [ / I M G ] Tags and for some reason it didnt work. :/

It didn't even come up as links it didn't show up period if I could make them show up without you having to click the links that would be wayy better.
