Lmao I know this fails and all. But I'm using frostwire to get my torrents to save to my harddrive. I am downloading them at thepiratebay then opening them with frostwire. They extract and all the files are showing there and i'm trying to listen to them but it says they don't work in WMP(windows media player) any suggestions to fix this?
Extensions? as in the format extension at the end of the file? .mp3 or whatnot.. they all download and extract perfect but once they go to play they just say the format isn't recognized, even though it's .mp3 Won't let me sync them onto my phone either.
Alright maybe i'll let you know how i'm downloading blah blah.
Step1 - Search thepiratebay and find the file i want.
Step2 - Download the Torrent then open it in Bittorrent.
Step3 - wait til the download in bittorrent is finished.
Step4 - Check the songs in the path they were saved.
I didn't let them seed.. would that be the problem? Like just downloading waiting til thats 100% then cancelling the uploading process?
Did you let the download finalize?
I've long noted that when a download finishes in bittorrent there is a "finalization" before it informs you its done downloading.
If you simple leave the files at the original path they downloaded to and download the torrent file from piratebay and the do the rehash/recheck thing it might fix it.
