- Anime Person is Grainy already.
- BG needs lots of work (Looks bad on its own...)
- Should increase the opacity and remove the white spot on the person
- Try hard to remove all white around the person
- Text is to far to th bottom. One simple crop could get rid of it... (Open for a rip)

- Need a better selection on the person
- Try to delete all white surrounding the character.
- Lower Opacity on the rainbow.
- Text needs to be moved slightly to the right. (Still could easily rip)
- Select different areas for different things, like I would suggest selecting the sword and applying some sort of gradient over that but not over the whole person...

- Ok text placement. (Down a bit would be better)
- Use the eraser tool to erase the white surrounding the character
- Heighten the opacity on the person, lower it on the white in the BG.
- BG needs work...
Overall you will improve as time progresses. Don't take these critiques to seriously, justs some minor things you should work on / take a look at...

Use that tool for best results... (Best in higher versions of Photoshop, newest being CS4)

I did use Shift actually. Mind Team viewing and making a siggy on my comp?
I have all the c4d's fonts, Brushes etc. i just want to see how its done. ^^

It looks good for being a beginner. Have fun with Photoshop.
I'm going to try and make my own too C: but I like them ~
