It's called the .gif image format. It's not a code you put in the image. It's a file format.

It has to be saved as a .gif or it won't work. I had a really silly Michael Phelps one :p

My Avatar is a gif, yet because it was re-sized (which i think is the problem) it wont work.

It depends on what you used to resize it, it might of just resized the first frame of the animation and then discarded the rest. If that's the case you bes off using a program like photoshop to resize it.

And if not (LG isn't allowing it) then there isn't a need for the suggestion, I imagine most of the old forum add ons will be re added in time, you just got to wait.

It was the forum that resized it.
But I'll try resizing it in photoshop (I had no clue you could do that lol)

EDIT- I try opening it up in photoshop and it tells me that it will only save one frame (or something like that)
So that's out.

Or upload it to PhotoBucket and resize it on there if you don't know how to do it in Photoshop.

It'd be cool to have animated avatars, but people with laggy computers should be able to have an option to turn them off.

...If your computer can't run a simple gif image then you NEED A NEW COMPUTER.
