How about we make the guest sign up by not showing them anything but the register screen and we would probably have more members because the guest could see more stuff without even signing up.

I don't feel like it'll work, but it would be a nice idea, remember VB is kinda on the longside for guests, (You only get like 3 thread views a whole day)

I think VB4.0 let's you view as much as you want.

There is a pull for it. You can only view 5 threads on your IP address. Once it changes, you can view more, but the whole thing about changing your IP address is a pain. Most guests can only see a few things threads and then leave because they cant see more. So its not the whole seeing stuff thing, its the lack of interest by many of the people viewing.

Oh i see i was just saying because there are some forums i go to and i cant see anything till i register and i think its better.

Its a good thing, but it doesnt give any users a little bit of leeway with anything. We need to give them a taste before they buy.

I thought guests cant see anything within code tags, but i was wrong when i saw my accounts i gave away when i didnt log in.

Ya i like this idea.

Some people might not sign up at all than because they can't see what the site is actually like.

Yeah, then they register and see everything they want.
That's what they do now when they reach the view limit.
