To slow the thread down?... Why waste the time coding it?

Also, can't you do that anyways?

I remember in 1.0 that you can...

no but you can post links

We had the addon in 1.0. Don't see why we won't again. No complaints about it back then so we'll see what Alex has to say.

It doesn't make the page lag unless you click start on every video and they connect to the server and start buffering.

I agree but why in every suggestion you just say restate the title and that's it?

i have to agree. i remember when we were doing it for idiotic videos like rick roll and shit. priceless. i think it would be a good idea to reimplement.

Actually, it does slow down the page in order to connect to and load the flash video player.

I don't like it based off the fact I don't want it slowing down the page. My computer is slow enough as is.
#11
Even having a page full of .gifs makes the page load pretty slowly for me. I think links out to Youtube should suffice.
#12
I don't really like this idea...Makes shit lag...end of story..
#13
I like the idea, because my computer runs
pages fine with videos and it would be a cool feature.

Idea: enable it in your profile or not. I'm fine with it, 'cause my computer can handle it. But I understand and know it can lag the shit out of others' computers. Disabled by default, but enable-able in one's profile. Just to convert youtube.com/watch?v=whatever links to whatever.
