Hacking ethics and human mortality.

The more and more I hack, The more and more I see sights and things that are very different from what most people see.

I find an abandoned persons account, They happen to have a blog or devart, or other things.

So, I curiously look in, to see cute pictures of an innocent happy female, her last blog entry over 6 years ago saying "Surgery is tomorrow! then I can go back home finally!" or other things along those lines. Making some new perspectives come to reality.

What ARE the moral limits when it comes to hacking?

We see a dead persons account, We take it, and make profit off of their death.
We see a living persons account, We take it, and ruin their internet life.

Is there any kind of limit to what we should be doing?
And when we die, Is someone going to be taking our internet life for themselves and taking our hard earned experience, or gold, or other things that made us who we are? What do you think will happen when those people who don't know we died, See us log onto yahoo for the first time in a year, And end up going to visit them expecting to see us, Just to get kidnapped.

Call it...Creative thinking..
Call it an overactive imagination.
I call it perspective and looking at what people don't realize what they are doing.

Then there is an even deeper perspective of what follows...These same things can be traced back to every footstep you take, To everything you purchase, To everything you eat. If you look hard enough at it, In the end everything that you have, is profit from another humans death.

So. The more I think of it, The more my perception changes, And the more I go into madness thinking, The only way to get ahead in this world and make it better for others, Is through massive death and destruction. I keep coming to the same conclusion no matter what I do, Now...I would like for you to answer me, Is there any type of logic behind my thinking? Or is this just some kind of delusion my brain is using to trick me into thinking my actions are logical and acceptable by the direction that all humans take in profiting from the death of others?

I am certain just about anyone here can go "Man I wish that ****** was dead, Someone needs to kill that guy, If I had the power to make someone die with no consequences I would totally go for it" or other things?

And then there is natural train of thought brought on to us from Well, I have no idea, But even as a child, People us the logic, To get rid of a problem, You kill it.

You hear kids who have not learned to think before they speak, Using instincts saying "KILL THIS KILL THAT BLABLABLABLA" and in videogames, Your first instinct when you see something causing a problem, Is to destroy / kill it, This could even be stemmed from the "No consequences" train of thought, Making it human nature.

Anyways...What do you guys think..?

Are humans truly like this deep down?
Do we just want to kill?
Do we just want to profit when someone dies?
Do we just want to see someone die so we can gain something inside?

What is it that this "Brain" is trying to teach us?

This, my friend, is not hacking. Hacking is the art of exploring technology. Stealing account information, keylogging people, writing viruses, this is cracking. Not hacking. The reason I don't RAT people is the exact reason your stating. It seems mean to ruin someone's life and profit off of it. Also couldn't take part in a few of anon's raids for this reason. They would use Ruin Life Tactics (Just search it on partyvan.info) and pizzabomb peoples houses and things like that, and it all just seemed too mean.

Hacking around LG is more of an umbrella term.

People around here consider DDOS / FLP`s hacking.
But...You are avoiding the questions entirely asked in the first post.

Cracking, hacking, ect. Its all just other words for theft. You checked your morals at the door as soon as you excepted the idea of taking something that didn't belong to you. The sooner you except this fact the better. Dead , unused for years, these are you rationalizing. Try to make your action seem less hypocritical.
As to your destroy the world bit I'd have to say that its logical in the same sense that the crusades and Inquisition were. You have no right to decide who gets to live or die, what actions are "best" or "correct". Every life is an experiment at defining what is the "good life".We've come this far through trial and error. The desire to kill stems from your own mental limitations. You see a problem and your first solution is destroy. That's just unhealthy and closed minded. That "problem" may not be a problem at all, it could be the way of the future.
Not saying any thing against you, just trying to get you to think.

I don't think there's a "right answer" to your questions. And... the same applies to morality and ethics.

As for the whole dead people thing, have you ever read the play Antigone by Sophocles?
There were two brothers who were kings of a city, and they agreed to take turns ruling the city. When one brother's turn was over, he refused to give the other brother power. Eteocles was the one refusing and Polynices was the other one.
So, Polynices went to another city, raised an army, and attacked his brother. They both died and their uncle Creon took over.
Antigone is a young woman whose brothers died in battle.
Creon gave Eteocles full burial rights, but left Polynices' body out to rot, 'cause he considered Polynices a traitor for attacking his own people. Also, since Creon was a new king he had to show his strong character and obedience to the law or else his people would never listen to him. Also, it's the whole kill one, warn a hundred thing.
He decreed a law that would punish anyone who tried to bury Polynices.
Antigone disagreed and buried Polynices anyway because that was a big thing in ancient Greece. They believed that if you don't get buried, basically your soul wanders and suffers for an eternity.
Practically everyone in the play supported Antigone instead of Creon, even though Creon was sort of right in his own way.
Anyway, in the end basically almost everyone dies. But, that's besides the point.

The point is it's the whole personal ethics vs. laws, or one person's ethics vs. another's. If your morals are radically different from most of society's, then you'd be considered like an outcast and your beliefs would be "wrong".
Like, basically everyone thought Charles Manson was a sicko, but what if the whole world agreed with him?

tl;dr I HONESTLY don't know how to answer your questions.
Maybe finding the answer is the meaning of life or some shit.
Profiting from the dead is right in some ways and wrong in some ways but because of society it's considered "wrong"

Everything we do in life is ultimately selfish. No matter what our motivation or reason it will always be selfish. We can rationalize stealing from the dead since, "They don't need it anymore!" I think its more the concept we feel like we're defiling memories. That we've just walked in on something. Maybe we feel remorse for the person who died. Maybe we don't care and chalk it up to reality. Either way its all based on our personal perception of what we "feel" is right or wrong. I wouldn't say some mass death really solves anything, that'd be naive. If you kill everyone there's no one to prey upon. Life, at least in this sense, is all about manipulating others. Though I mean we can almost always say there is someone we'd like to do harm to. In the end everything is about our own interests and the way we rationalize it. Would I personally feel bad hacking some dead person's account? Yes, but I'm not so sure it would be because of some remorse for doing so. Or the fact I'd feel put in an awkward position.
If someone were to hack my best friend's account. I think it would bother me. I suppose that gives me a sense of empathy for others in that position. I think when it really comes down to it we dissociate the people we are screwing over. To the point we don't even think of them as human anymore. We're not close to them, we don't know them, we feel we owe them nothing.
Then it comes down to basic human nature. We can fool ourselves into having morals and ideals, but when it comes straight down it there are very few people we wouldn't screw over if we had to out of necessity. I wouldn't say we want to see people die. Or they even need to die to be profitable. In fact people who are still alive are even more profitable, the dead are just easier prey. Honestly I think your whole "Killing to gain all" is just your minds way of rationalizing what you do, because some part of you wants a reason to justify "why" you do it. When the real answer is we do it because its what we do. No real reason or justification needed other than that.

i honestly think if you steal a dead person something they clearly cannot use or didnt use before they died its fine because you never know where that can take you it might make you a dollar but you never know how that changed you or maybe even changed the world depending on how you used it if you look at the long run maybe after you die if you manage to leave a family behind that that dollar probably helped create and maybe a person who helped millions , as for hacking active people i think its just wrong since it affects them directly and you cant really tell what the person might go through because of that, idk if anything of what i said made sense but w/e

In my way of thinking, because I normally target living, or alive victims, is that I am here to teach them a lesson, about how to not be stupid. I go around infect these people ransack their accounts, and leave a little token, or note or something, that tells them where they messed up. I hope they learned their lesson and are more educated on the issue.

Dead victims, I normally don't come across people's accounts when their dead. I deal more in keyloggers and stealers, so this doesn't happen to me. However, if I were taking someones account who has died, and using their account to put the account back into the economy, and put the items back out into the economy, I wouldn't feel bad, nor would I feel bad making a profit off of it. It's not like their ever going to use the account again anyways.

I left all morals, and what not behind when I started hacking.

When I first started hacking, I kinda had the same thought. I thought was it morally okay for me to do it, and what not, I no one to turn to to ask, and I gave up, and kept going and realizing that you give up all morals once you step in the front door.

Oh nonono...Nothing like that.

I would say the only time I felt bad about hacking / scamming, Was in diablo 2 in 2002-2003.

Faked teaching a guy how to duplicate an item through dropping it on the ground in town, I stayed out of town on the other side of a fence, Then when he dropped the item, Teleported over the wall and then picked up the item, disappeared. Felt pretty bad when he was /f m`ing me going "I WORKED SO HARD TO GET THAT PLEASE GIVE IT BACK!" But when it comes down to it, He should have learned his lesson.

At the moment I dont really have remorse when it comes to hacking. I will do everything from taking someones messengers so they cant tell their friends what happened, To taking over everything in their lives to get information from their friends via the trust angle.

But, These thoughts almost always lurk in the back of some peoples minds, And I figured it could make a good discussion

I know how you feel with the MMO thing, I've done the same with Runescape, scamming for items and such. But you know what? I kinda don't care anymore. After awhile you just become desensitized to it, and trying to make sense of why you did it in the first place is pointless. We all did it because we did. Nothing more, nothing less really. All people make decisions like that, where they just did it, and this is no different. Besides, what's "right" and "wrong" is irrelevant, it's too subjective to really mean much. That's another reason why it probably doesn't matter to a lot of us that we are potentially breaking laws. Just some rambling I guess.

Lol diablo 2 , whats funny is when i read this i was installing diablo 2 again..:P
