I love the tab design :D
Do you think they should add a Chat Box or w/e?
Personally I think they should have a chat box on the main tab, and all the forum tabs beside it...

No.
Then forum activity would probably decline and will reside only in the chatbox.
Plus it will make the site look all cluttered with something not needed.
We do have a chat box. But it's only for staff use.
