I use norton(is terrible) and I use AVG(works great)
You can download free version from their site. Doesn't expire and does all the things you need an antivirus to do for free. I only have norton because it's what my parents bought. I "have" to use it.
avast is the best hands down. auto updates regularly. have not gotten a single virus in the three years i've been using it
AVG.
And techincaly norton is a virus haha.
Like its a virus itself.
I have mcafee (sucks) but I use AVG
I now has AVG!
Thanks for the opinions!
Linux Mint 8.
No Viruses.
Linux can't get viruses.
Ubuntu does not have viruses.
that i know of.
For my Pc i have Eset and it is ironic lol.
I use Norton, which sucks. I also have Webroot's Spy Sweeper.
That is funny though. I wouldn't ever get one from torrent.
Not all torrents are bad. lol. it's mainly the porno ones..
damn.
I r not download porn.
I download lots of programs though...
Lots of youtube downloaders and file converters....
Ive always used AVG and webroot
Havent gotten a virus yet, probably because I dont go around downloading porn
Right now I'm running AVG, Maleware bytes, and Avast! I'd suggest them highly
Microsoft security essentials was the best for me because it detects backdoors and hacktools and can remove worms easy :D
I've always used Avast, and have had no problems with it. Before I found it, I used Norton, and had to reformat twice.
I have mcafee professional version.
it's awesome.
I use Norton and AVG, then I use Spy-Sweeper and Virus Buster. Norton sucks, AVG is inconvenient, Spy-Sweeper is slow, and Virus Buster is out dated. But I still don't get viruses. Must be all that fail merging into a win.
ESET NOD32 ftw.
easy to download, and easy to hack.
Pretty much theres a site that updates daily with new usernames and passwords.
So just copy and paste about once a month and you're set.
Avast always worked best for me, it has amazing scanning.
Norton has to be the worst.
I use NOD32 gets the job done ;D
