^ The same with me, but personally it depends on the location, I've gone to places where the water was amazing from the tap, but I've been to places where the water is crappy from the tap...
over all i prefer purified water, because it doesnt range, its always the same... unless you get it bottled. :p
My tap water has that thing where when you drink it, it kinda just goes dry and doesn't lurk in your mouth. I dun like it ):
Purified.
Well water here in tennesse is pretty good tastes like spring water to me, but it has a few flavors non that are bad. They just add a bit of flavor to the flavorless water.
I I were to choose between bottled waters I'd take distilled water or spring water.
Think they taste the same and getting one of those water purifier things you plug on the end of the sink seems like a waste of money so tap for me.

Tap water here always has too much chlorine in it, and some days a heavy brown color. I have a fridge with water/ice in the door and it has a great filtration system. I also have one of those PUR filtered pitchers with the flavor booster. Mostly drink Lemon or raspberry.
As far as bottled water goes, I get free Smart Water & Dasani because my uncle works at a coca cola plant.I mostly drink that when I'm outside~
Water is all the same to me... My tap water is horrible in my apartment so I drink purified
Bottled water is a waste of money no debate there and home filters cost money to maintain.
I live in San Francisco, home toecocentric hippies anda filtration system that, supposedly, produces the cleanest tap water in the world. So I drink tap everywhere. I even drank water from my shower head once. I replaced cases of bottled water with a aluminum water bottle from target and made it a habit to refill it every other hour when I'm out. Tastes the same and costs a lot less.
