How to get an accurate results about your diet and physical activity status.
When I took health class we had a program that manage and record our eating and physical activity. I wasn't able to find the the download link but I've found something better. It's almost the same exact program but on your browser. No download is necessary.
I will show you how to set it up. Should be self explanatory but some may find this useful.
1: Click here to sign up for a new profile.
2: Fill out all the necessary stuff and click "Save Today's Changes"
3. Click "Proceed to Food Intake", you will be redirect to a fairly blank page where it asks you to add food and on the right a log of the stuff you eaten.
4. Add all foods and beverages eaten in the last 24 hours. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
5. Click "Select Quantity" where you will list the number of serving you had/size.
6. Click "Save and Analyze". It will analyze your serving and will give recommendation base on the type of food you ate.
The most important one you should check is the "Calculate MyPyramid Stats". It will compare your serving with a healthy pyramid recommendation. If the lines are close nearly close, it mean you are eating healthy. If not, then you should improve your eating habits. I recommend that you check and comparing all of it (DG, Nutrient Intakes, and MP Recommendation)
The key to healthy eating to follow the pyramid.
