Hi guys, i noticed that this section is always pretty dead, so i want to make a competition to get players to win an account or something so they can start playing!

you could have an character theme of the month contest. Like have a theme or a person that a character has to look the best alike
example:
theme:winter (they could dress up to look like santa, all white etc..)
or look like characters from famous movies/animes/games etc...
I like the best dressed idea. It's hard to do that on RS cause almost every item is for stats, not aesthetic pleasure.

Yea i guess that would be ok, but for a player to make a decent amount of money with merchanting would take weeks or even month.

We all meet up somewhere in wildy and fight eachother 1v1, if you die, you're eliminated, person who wins the tournament gets ///.
Duel arena instead.
