UG Bronze is not meant to be for good hacks, its the most simple hacks. So bumping it would lower the traffic to this site even more.
UG Bronze is just useless... Has all the shit we use to have in public awhile back in it... 50 posts is nothing, takes 3 hours, if you want to. All it was designed for is a simple "safer" approach.
Whatever happened to that old 10 post requirment that was on the old LG? Were there that many spammers that wanted basic hacks?

i do agree with the idiots part...which is why the certain something will no longer be to our advantage soon, but im afraid that if it was raised, people would just find ways to "legitimately" spam.
Idiots are going to exist whether or not the requirement exists. 10 posts is WAY too low. Seriously, every other post was "SPAMMIN' TO TEN." Daily. Seriously. I don't believe that problem has really existed here, so the 50 limit is great. About bringing it up, I don't think it matters, simply because UG Bronze hacks suck balls. I mean, no offense to whoever is wearing the UG Bronze badge proudly, but you really don't have access to anything worth having - it's all stuff that used to be public. I'm not really sure why there's even a UG Bronze. I guess just so members don't bitch about not being in UG until they get the 500 required for UG Silver. So, who the fuck cares what it is. Just don't lower it.
But, I guess there's one important thing - if you *raise* it, new members may feel it's too high to bother trying to work towards and thus not stay. If they think the shitty programs in it are worth posting to get, it's more activity for LG. So, 50 sounds fine.
I think 50 is Good There isnt the best things in bronz so no need for heaps of poasts just keep the good stuff for silver and gold

50 is fine... somepeople are just here for the hacks, we don't want the traffic to go down, maybe they will smarten up and realise there are better hacks in silver.

there is really no point .the whole thought process is that within the 50 posts, they would be caught spamming or breaking the rules. but of course many slip through the cracks. there is of course nothing that will really stop them.
so bumping the reqs will only cause more spamming (safe) and idiocy.
Bronze has nothing really all that special.
Therefore raising the min. posts to be in the Bronze UG is pointless.

Bronze UG should stay the same at 50 posts, but should require a mod to quickly go through their posts to check for spam.
That's not a bad idea. You could have it so you don't automatically get added to bronze ug when you hit 50 posts, a mod would have to approve you before you get in.Quote:
