I saw that status in the old LG.
So i was thinking of suggesting it so alex would recruit members for that team.. It's a good way to bring alot of more members.

I think it was a total bust before, so it's most likely not coming back.
Alex did most of the advertising himself, by spamming Gaia.
So basically, we tell people about the site?

Like i said, before it wasn't that helpful, Syd was the advertising team leader, and the other members of the team were inactive....

I don't think it would help at the least, of my understanding it's a group of people who go out and advertise right? So basically ask friend and family to join LG? I also think if we made an "advertising team" and based it on referrals it would just be abused by idiots with a good proxy. Plus what other website is going to appreciate us going on it and spamming it with request for members?
We need to go on games and do it. Like Maplestory/Runescape/Neo/Gaia.

Advertising team in the end was a failure, with Syd busy irl and the other members inactive, no advertising was being done. But Alex/Plobby are working on referral contests and things of the sort to help bring LG back up to the status that it used to be at.

At the moment the status for the advertising team is undecided. However, if we need it in the near future, we will either reward users who help us out with advertising, or reincarnate the currently dead "advertising team".
