Yes I agree, we need Itrader back and yes I also agree on rep. yes, some people abuse it but, for the most part it's legitimate reasons for you to get repped. Plus the abuse is an easy fix, just don't have +rep for any requirements for jobs. ^^

iTrader is basically something that after you finish a transaction, you up someone's iTrader. The higher their iTrader, the more trusted they are. You can also lower it.
It is hard to abuse because you need to provide a link to the thread that you had traded in.
Rep will never get brought back, way to many people abuse it's power and whore it.
Although I believe a "Thanks" system would work a lot better. (much like on other sites.)

We had people with 1k rep. Too much. I think if people decided to be responsible and not rep whore, it'd be a good system.

iTrade seems reasonable but if we should get rep, then it should be like only silver underground members get to give rep or gold underground get to give rep, if it's all the members, then it'll be abused. e_e
I'd rather have a system where a S-mod or higher issues the rep or some sort of accomplishment that help the growth of the site by posting helpful guides and programs.
Rep system by normal users can be good BUT it will always lead to abuse of the system when REP is needed to gain access to certain areas of the site.
so instead of a user base award system, I'd rather see Officials handing points out.
This would be a good mod nevertheless, we should get this. :3

So if iTrader was implemented, would trades for LG count too? Seeing the amount of threads and user shops accepting LG, I think people could have 400 iTrader rep and 370 of it are trades for a small amount of LG for a mule or something. :P
It's called a middle man, Nuff said, if you don't use one you deserve to be scammed.
iTrader is working i just used it after my trades and business
we just don't have the side panel one by are avatars and post counts and gold etc etc
if you were ever actually on the old LG long enough to remember the use of the repping system, then you would know that people abused it more than ared-headed step-child.
there is no use. lets face it if it was actually needed then Arti would have added it back. and all rep does is inflate people's ego because of what people on the website think.

We are actually still debating whether we should bring rep back or not. If we do not, we might consider adding a function similar to that of facebook where you can "Like" a post. However, we'd try to also add the "Dislike" function this time. :p
