Automatic Middleman
Crazy-Somewhat dumb idea, but I'm just gonna throw my ring into the hat here. The automatic middleman would be a tab, next to Quick Links, etc. And once you click onto that link, it'll bring you to another page (obviously) and will ask you to invite the person you're trading with inside the room (has to be valid LG username) and will ask each member for the information, then will check it using an account checker, perhaps for a few known sites, or the sites that exist on LG. (Gaia, Runescape, Neopets, etc.) and after both members send the information, and checks the accounts to see if they're valid, it will either say "trade successful" or "your (or the other trader's) information is invalid, please double check the information, then rejoin the room.". When the trade is successful, it will then send the information to each member with the information through a PM or wherever. If it's invalid AKA unsuccessful, it will then abort the trade and kick both members out of the room, without sending information to anyone. Then, you'll have to double check with the member, and see if the information is really valid, and ask them to go into the room again, until successful.
Recommendations: Put a chatroom inside, just incase. (Maybe)
I know this will effect the user middleman purpose, but it would be faster, and safer if you don't trust dedicated members.
Notes: still thinking about real world currency trades.. Possibly an LG paypal.. But more of that later.

We don't have a user who can be online 24/7, and/or we don't have a program that could be trusted to this extent.
Been proposed a long time ago, just not in the logical spot...

Not all trades are through accounts or items. That's the problem. It is quite possible however, that there could be categories and an input field. Choose the category of type of item (Gaiaonline Account, Graphic, Neopoints, etc) and supply information in the fields. Both submit their trade and then the trade is up for moderation. MM's can have a control panel where they can access these trades and moderate them (check if things exist) and if they work, press the trade button.

Its great that you would think of an idea like this, but, something like that would have to be extremely advanced, and even at that it could possibly be fooled.
Its always safer to have a real person.

IT is as far as our level of programming goes, as exquisite as it is, it is almost impossible. no bot can do that, and no member has so little of a life that that is all they can do.
