auto merge posts

a lot of new members double even triple post and get 3 magical spam posts.

so i think you should make it merge their posts

Definitely. Take a load off of the mods too.

Seems like a good idea. But there is always the smart spammer that doesnt just double post, but waits for a few people to post so its not double posting, but just spam, so it wouldnt change the need for mods to merge the posts.

It would still make the job of staff members a lot easier. So it is obviously a good idea.
