Help?

So, thinking of making a simple little Gaia bot program in C++, just to try. I started programming in C++ about a month ago, and know a fair amount. What I don't know, though, is how to interact with anything internet or web-based. Can anyone help me with this? I'm using Code::Blocks as a compiler (Don't want to spend money on the dumb Microsoft one) and I've heard you need special headers or something.

Any help at all is appreciated. And yes, for those who are wondering, I am planning on making a few bots or programs that are Gaia-related in C++ if I can figure out how to interact with web-based things.

I have no clue yet o.o I had just found a bunch of interesting links, that I figured could be used in bots. I also really wanted to just try making a bot in C++
