Alright, so I've been having a few issues lately.
Visual Basic 2008 Express Edition has always been great, and I've never had any problems with it, up until about a week ago.
You see, when I press the 'Run' button to begin debugging, it says the the program is running, but the form never pops up. After a while of the program 'running', it eventually stops running, and says the the application name encountered an error, and needed to close. I've tried opening previous projects, and started new ones. I completely uninstalled Visual Basic 2008, and reinstalled it. I have Windows 7.
If you need more info, just ask.
Thanks.

Are you using the latest version? Have you been able to run it on Windows 7 before?
Perhaps try running it in XP compatibility mode.

Yes, and I just reinstalled it. I was able to run it on Windows 7 before, then it just didn't work. I'm not sure what happened.
Also, I ran for Windows XP compatibility, and I also turned off the desktop composition. If you would like a Lockerz.com invite, simply PM me your email, and I'd be happy to invite you.

Simple, your program has a bug in it and it can't run it since there is a bug and nor will it let you run it.
GameChief I know how you want to post after this but dont.

Zeth, have you tried redownloading the installer or are you using the one you had originally used, or have you tried using a different version? Perhaps go back by a single version. Also, is this a cracked program, or legit? If it's cracked, it may have been patched/whatever to realize it's cracked and thus stop working. Maybe run a registry cleaner, if that's the case.

I've never used Visual Studios, so IDK if it costs anything or not. Perhaps he was running on a trial without a registration key.

He uninstalled it but he didn't say it solved the problem.
Well there are defiantly portable versions, I am running one.
It works great. You simply register the files group them all (Even the ones on C:/User/program files or whatever) then put them in a .rar file for everyone.
Chad, Gamechief knows lots of stuff about the computer, maybe not as much (Maybe I have no Idea) but he deserves your respect. He is a "Logical" Gamer.
He did say that he un installed it but nothing about it fixing the problem, your right.
Well the express edition is free but the professional version cost money... I think it is a couple thousand for the 4 program pack.
