Oh so i was using tor browser as a proxy and now i am getting an error on opening saying something about my "query" then I looked up tor browser and see something about the FBI loading a malware to identify users. Anyone else getting this error?
P.S.- Gonna upload some accounts soon so be prepared i got my internet back hoes
Just letting you know the FBI has taken over certain servers and like it said it has loaded malware on your computer and many other just to locate the people looking for CP and all let me see if I can find a article on it.

Make sure you disable JavaScript (e.g. by using NoScript) if you are using Tor. Otherwise you are wasting your time.
I'd be more suspect of NSA over the FBI being behind this.
I'm pretty sure it was a known exploit that never had a security patch.
NSA = Cryptography and surveillance. This was most likely an FBI raid, or CIA raid. The servers that were infected were TorMail and that one Tor web host, I forget what it's called. The sites both read "Server down for maintenance" when it happened, and it utilized a JavaScript vulnerability in the old Firefox 17 to send a cookie to an IP address most likely controlled by the government that contained your real IP and some other information about your computer. It was meant to de-mask the Tor users, giving their real IPs to the government.
If you have the Tor Browser Bundle, make sure that your NoScript is set to "Disable Scripts Globally". For some stupid reason this doesn't come as the default.
This vulnerability only impacted users of the older Tor browser bundle, as the latest one is upgraded past Firefox 17.
To tell the truth, there's not much to worry about unless you deal big-time in fraud. Eg. if you do carding, money counterfeiting, or any of those things on the deep web. This attack was most likely aimed at those who things, along with child pornography, but soon they may be migrating to attacking the hackers of the deep web also.

The rumors you're probably hearing about pertain to Freedom Hosting servers which were reportedly compromised by someone.
It came right after the FBI arrested the owner of Freedom Hosting, indicating it was probably the FBI.
Whoever compromised the server set it up so that it injects a javascript exploit into versions of Firefox 17.
The exploit came with a malware payload, so that'd be something to watch out for if you've visited any of the sites.
As for the hidden servers on the Tor network, many of them have long been infiltrated in the sense that goods and services offered by anonymous users are unreliable.
Your QUERY issue however is probably something to do with your actual Tor configuration or the site you're trying to access.
If you posted the exact error here we'd be happy to assist in determining the origin.
More than half of the sites in the onion have been compromised. All major hosting sites, hacking sites and the like have been compromised with a cookie that injects into Firefox 17. Here is a short article on it all. If you have made the mistake of looking at something you shouldn't have been down there, which is pretty much everything in the last 2 months, you might want to go someplace that won't extradite to the US on capital crimes.Quote:
