How many times have you actually done it?
I saw and caught ever pokemon in Silver. I have completed the pokedex in every pokemon game I own except Black 2. I'm 12 away from completion of the Unova region any way.

I honestly don't think I've ever completed the Pokedex.
I remember that was pretty much the entire point of you going on your Journey anyway, It was just always the very last thing to come to mind lol
Never, for some reason I've never really tried after the original games.
Even though to "catch them all" is considered like the second goal of the game...
I've just never really cared to. XD
Oh if you complete the pokedex in Black 2 you get the shiny charm.
Which makes it more like for you to find shiny pokemon in the wild!
I think that's for like all pokemon, for just Unova you get a charm that relates to eggs and access to the Nature Preserve & Shiny Haxorus(I love that Game Freak took a BS fan rumor from older games and made it a thing).
My cousin and I always coordinated to get the opposite version of each other so we could trade and get all the pokemon. Plus prior to DS I had three gamesboys so I could move pokes around on my own and complete my pokedex that way.
One thing I've developed is a since of pride and connection to my pokemon now that I'm older. I have a whole box dedicated in Black 2for the pokemon I call mine and use/am training. I also am limiting my captures to pokemon I like versus my usual tag and bag. I think I have like 70, I've seen like 460 something. Got to get Regice so I can get in on Regigigas, but I'll worry about that after I complete Unovadex.
Man, I've never completed the entire pokedex. I'm planning on making Pokemon Blue the first game I've ever completed the Pokedex in though, I just started a new game the other day.
Too many. Haha!
I never completed any of the pokedex in the games I was always about catching a few pokemon and just use them the whole times at gyms and with trainers ect. I just never cared to complete it.
I can't. I tried to play on my iPhone but it crashes so freaking much it makes me rage quit every time.
Only ever did it once.
never even tried
i caught all the pokemon in firered :D
I haven't tried completing it because it's too much work and I have other games to play.
I've never completed it myself :(
I did it in Yellow (maybe Red/Blue too). Never since, because fuck that.
Well i always complete the pokedex in the first 5min of playing >:)
I had done it once, I had a whole lot of tries on other versions but, as usual, I failed. It's not easy for me.
I have never really tried to catch them all my main goal is more catch the ones I like/Want and kill the rest
I got all of them in pokemon fire red :D
back in 2008
i have never caught all of the Pokemon
I tried, but lost my pokemons and rage quited. D:
Every time I try I end up getting a little farther and then quitting for a long period of time until I get inspiration to do it again; it's an endless cycle that repeats ad nauseam. :P Almost there on Ruby though.
I've caught all the Pokemon Available in Blue Silver and Sapphire. No trading or anything like that so the Pokedex was incomplete but I couldn't do anything more without trading. Black 2, I've completed the National Dex. It took me quite some time with trading though. Now, I'm working on actually having all the Pokemon instead of a completed Dex. Next to RNG, EV training, and getting my teams ready. Honestly, Pokemon is way to much of a time consuming game.
Finished the Pokedex in Yellow, took almost a year and a half. Getting that damn Raichu. -_-
Finished Blue and Red in 4 months from constant trading between the two and restarting for the starters.
S/G/C: 2 years
After those I stopped caring.
I completed mine on Yellow, so only once. Now I'll work on getting one for PokeMMO. I'll be crushed if Nintenderp ever shuts that shit down though. ):
never. i'd always wanted to, and obsessively caught everything in my path to start out with, but... that usually lasted up until a good third of the game at most before i'd just give up entirely. typically on my first playthrough i don't even bother, though.
