Member of the Month Monthly Contest

Ever get the feeling that you deserve something for all your hard work? Do you do a lot on LG and still feel unappreciated? Well effective immediately LG will be having a Member of the Month contest!

At the end of each month, we will be holding nominations, each LG member will be allowed to nominate any members that they feel deserve this title. After that, the LG staff will look at all the nominations and choose 5 from that list. We will then slip them into a poll and you will then be able to vote on who deserves it.

The prize you ask? The winner will receive:

-A Steam game/games that totals up to $50!
-A user title in the "MotM month/year here" format!


Since it is the last day of July today, we will be skipping the nominations phase and will announce the winner off the bat.

Congratulations to Thomas, for your outstanding support and genuine interest in LG's future, you've been awarded the MotM for July 2010!

Remember guys, you shall be judged on how you post/contribute on LG from now on so try and spread a little love/help from now on!

So, I'm guessing staff isn't allowed?

Anyways, are you going to post a thread for each month, or what? Are the nominations going to go on like the 20th till 30(or 31st) of the month, or how's it going trk?

Staff is not allowed to be MotM. It is for other users to show their stripes and be recognized.

I will just update this thread with the winners and whatnot. There will be a separate temporary sticky placed in Junkyard each time Nominations are up. Nominations shall happen from the 20th-25th and the poll will be open from the 26th to the end of the month. Winner will be announced on the last day.

eventual substitutes will be offered instead of steam, until then, memberships and prizes can be resold, or horded for future gain i suppose.

That's not fair. Staff should also be included in Member of the Month as well. We are members just the as others are.

I agree with chad. I think everyone Mod and lower should be included.

I don't think it would be fair since you guys know how to make good programs and then you know you would win it all the time because of your programs.
And maybe someone will get pissed off for not getting "MotM" and have a fit.

About the issue of not having steam, it's free to make one and offers games suited for shitty computers up to the more high end systems, so I'm sure you'll find something worthwhile in there to buy with $50.

Alright i see where your going with that mk. W.e. doesnt bother me i have plenty of steam games. I rarely rarely play games anymore anyways >.<

Probably RAM And Memory on his computer. pages are kbs, games are GBs, and sometimes even really big games are TBs

Well im not the only one that uses this computer so i had to restart my whole computer about 5 times because of the games i downloaded and they get pissed off so i don't do it any more D:.
