I use R4i.
Usually because there are plenty of multiplayer games, which cannot be played with only one cartridge, sharing the game on wifi (like Mariokart or Bomberman)...
So if I wanna play with my fiancé, I'd have to buy two copies of the same game. With the R4 I don't have to. I also use it when I'm not sure if I'd like to buy a game. This way I can decide wether it worths the money or not. :-) Also there are games I'd like to play, but I'd never buy them because they aren't good enough, or just simply too expensive.

I have an r4i revolution gold (r4ids.com), an AceKard 2i, and an iPlayer. My favorite is still the AceKard since the soft updates regularly and customization of the gui is a breeze.
