Finishing NieR atm and then next is Code Vein.
Are you playing the original NieR or Automata? I've only ever played the sequel but I do absolutely adore Automata. At some point I do want to get round to playing Drakengard and NieR even if they are drastically different.
A lot of Portal lately.
Hahahah I've only played the NieR: Automata too. i wanted to play the OG Nier too but i don't have my consoles on me anymore.
I'm quite surprised the original NieR hasn't made it's way on to steam as a port, especially after the success of Automata. I'm actually half way through the first Automata novel as well which is a pretty good read but it's mostly all stuff that happens in the game so far.
I completed Diablo 1 the other day which was pretty cool, I was surprised how much it felt like D2. For whatever reason I had it in my head that it was going to be quite different.
And I'm really enjoying Bloodstained as well which is meant to feel like a spiritual successor to Castlevania: Symphony of the night and I've got to say that they've nailed that feel. The dialog is pretty awful but so was Castlevania's, I'm not sure if that's intentional but the gameplay is spot on. The only thing I don't like (and this is personal preference) is the crisp graphics as oppose to the traditional pixel graphics old Castlevania games are known for.
Is anybody still playing Minecraft? That and Valve games are the one ones I still play anymore.
I can't say I really play it anymore however I am ashamed to admit that I still watch a few Minecraft lets plays on youtube. I'm a bit sad like that haha. That being said I did play around with the RTX settings for it recently which looked pretty awesome.
As for Valve games, I love the Portal games but I never really got into Half Life. I remember trying to get through it on PC at a point in time when I was constantly wiping my system and installing new operating systems and neglecting to back up my save of it resulting in me playing the first 2-3 hours several times and not much more than that.
I'll give it a look see, cheers for the recommendation!
Warcraft 3
Is DotA still a thing im W3?
yes & yes. warcraft factions are humans elves undead orcs
also i just purchased a switch/really late to that party.
I got a switch for BotW, played it a bit then it gathered dust until Smash came out and now it's gathering dust again haha. I did mod it with some custom transparent purple joycons and coloured buttons though.

ooo pretty
Have you considered getting the Switch lite or would you want the full sized model? I love the look of it, especially in yellow but I'm not really a big on handhelds for whatever reason so I'd have to opt for the full size. Not that it matters too much in my case because I barely use it but I'm still curious about your thoughts.
If you're unaware the lite version is smaller and cheaper but doesn't support docking or removing the joycons. At that point I don't really see why it's still called a switch though because it doesn't switch.
ya, we bought both...Christmas came early to my house
lite for the GF to play in bed and the Original cause i wanted the TV output + pro controller.
So I just finished up Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night on PS4 and I wanted to let you guys know my thoughts as it's a fairly unknown game that came out this year.
I've got to say that I thoroughly enjoyed it. I ended up getting every achievement and that's something I never normally do. If you're a fan of old school Metroidvania games I highly recommend it. The voice acting is pretty awful but it feels kind of intentional. The game is designed to feel as much like Castlevania: Symphony of the night as possible which also had awful dialog and voice acting. The creator refers to it as the spiritual successor to SotN and it's littered with nods and Easter eggs.
It was actually a Kickstarter project made by the guy who made SotN because Konami held the rights to Castlevania and didn't do anything good with the franchise in recent years other than the anime so he wanted to do it himself. It's not often that Kickstarter projects turn out so well.
So yeah, check it out if that sort of thing appeals to you! :)
Note: There is also a switch port but from what I've heard it's pretty awful so I'd opt for the PS4 or Steam versions.
holding out on buying a ps4 for the ps5
currently playing sword/shield
After 2 or 3 years I've come back to Dota2. Old habits die hard.
Ive been on red dead 2 online collecting https://jeanropke.github.io/RDR2CollectorsMap/ and some of City Skylines for the first time but i think im done with it, and ive been playing Kingdom come deliverance, tony hawk underground 2, skate 3 and the new cod sometimes too
thats sweet, i got smash too but havent played in a while.
i play sometimes on xbox, think i can play with pc people if you have the Microsoft games version of it. My friend and i have been playing terraria and getting into it though
I love Warhammer. I've been playing it for around 10 years and have actively turned down better jobs to work in the game industry.
It's a hobby with a larger front load cost but ultimately it's not any more expensive than any other hobby. Modeling and painting is very satisfying. The game is pretty good and more balanced now than it has been in the past. It's also doing gangbusters right now so lots of new people playing. Getting into the lore and being in the game for yourself is what really makes it. Liking your stuff and doing what you want to do is the right move.
