*goes to report today's massive spam and grave digging*
WHOO~! go through every post >D
I've watched several topics today in GD that I'm considering reporting everyone that posted in them today for grave digging spam but there really is a clear source person who's causing it so I'm torn.
WOOT WOOT go coffin
D<
It's not spam if you're on-topic.
And it's only grave digging if the topic is 3 weeks old, or older, and the only person who would be reported would be the first person to grave dig.
Correct, or am I wrong?
O:
Lol?
A topic is "dead" if no one has posted in it for 3 weeks or more, if I still remember. And if it's on topic, then it isn't spam.
:(
gravedigging is posting in any thread that has gone inactive for 2 weeks or more. That is gravedigging. and it doesnt really matter if it is on topic, if it off of the main page it is gravedigging. if it is younger then 3 weeks inactive, it is safe for posting.
Oh, it was 2 weeks. But still, yeah.
Finally back with a brand new 150$ cheap router. Shoot me a pm on the current happennings.
But there is no promise that it will remain dead. I'm all about enforcing rules, look at the hundreds of threads that i closed and the 500 infractions i gave out as a moderator in my first month alone, not to mention the hundreds taken care of by the old team collectively. And i know the rules of LG back to front, 3 days is not gravedigging, it is just inactive, not dead.
until the thread is 100% inactive for the regulated amount of time (2 weeks with no new or concurrent posting), there is no proof that it is dead and would remain so.
No moderator is checking reports anymore, or some people would be long gone. :/
indeed this is true, but they aren't always active. which is why when the staff is appointed, things will sort themselves out, and if not, then new...er staff will be hired for the job.
just keep reporting, it is the job of moderators and smods a like to handle this sorta stuff.
I love how people go on about the rules, but I have yet to see any rules.
