Need some life help. Also, Hi my names Martin(IMVU) Anyone remember me?

Hey, I was a member on this site, 3-4 years ago, was really active, then got side tracked with a lot of life problems. So I didn't really find time to be an active member here, kind of miss it. Had a lot of friends :/ How is everyone?


Well anyways, I have some issues in life I am trying to figure out.

Here's the deal.

I dropped out of school at 15, to help my mother with bills, been working full time since, and haven't found time to juggle my job, my school + my family and fiance.
I'm 18 now, and I live with my fiance and her father, we renovated the basement to our standards, and are staying here until we find money to move out. But I have a dream, I want to be a fighter. Ever since I was 13, i've been fascinated with mixed martial arts, loved every minute of it.

Ever since then I've my own home tournaments, where we'd fight for money. I have a 13-2 record with 7 KOs and 5 Submissions and one TKO stoppage. 2 submission losses. I love the thrill, I love the feeling ( might be kinda weird.. ) I just love all of it.

But here's the problem. I have minimal bills to pay, just 100$ for insurance, 50$ for phone and 100$ for rent a month. Thats just 250$ of bills. Yet I still go broke, some how IDK.

But I want to fight. I want to train, but in a legit way. I rigth now have a factory job from 6am-4pm 6 days a week. I'm tried, and I'm unhappy, i make decent money sure, but I'm 18 and I'm not following my dreams, so I'm unhappy. I get mad at my fiance all the time, because of my stress. It's like a dog with a big backyard of oppurtunities to have fun, but being locked in the house all day every day... I hate it.

My dream is to do this

Work part time 25-30hrs a week. Making around 200$ a week, enough to pay bills. I'd need 400$ a month to pay it all including training.
Finish my GED so if fighting does NOT work out the way I want, I have an education ( finally ) to fall back on. My career path choice is to have a career in computer engineering or Law Enforcement ( Fear not I have no problem with online illegal crap haha )
And eventually if it works out, well self explanitory, I want to be a professional mixed martial artist. That's my dream.

But my fiance wants me to work full time so we have money fo-dayz. But I don't like this sacrifice I'm making of happiness... It did take me 3 years to find a good full time job making 2k a month, but it's terribly stressful...

What does LG think of my problem and, what would you do??

The thing about anything athletic is you can make a ton of money while your in your prime, but it tends to be incredible short lived.

May I recommend taking things into your own hands and trying your own business, There's a book called Four Hour Workweek by Tim Ferris.

He talks about doing things for yourself, and finding happiness.

This could lead to having your business, and still having the time to do the things you enjoy like fighting.
