Him, he's the one with the contract with the ISP, and therefore liable.
Obviously him the payments are under his name and his son is the one illegally downloading movies or whatever it might be. But you also said you downloaded an illegal movie so you can get caught too.
I don't think that's applicable when his son is 18. He is an adult. Laws aren't that bound by red tape. That's like saying if you use public WiFi to break the law, then the McDonald's you were at is the one who will get sued, even if there is evidence that you specifically are the one who did it.Quote:
