‎(pulls up next to you in sweet ride, rolls down window)

Ay, girl.

(lowers brand new Ray-Bans downs the bridge of nose, makes sly smile)

I'm sure you hear this all the time, but you know I just gotta tell ya

(takes toothpick out of mouth)

while I do recognize Nikola Tesla as a brilliant man, and while I am happy that he has been getting much of his long-deserved attention lately, I feel like he has come to be worshiped as a god at the expense of Thomas Edison being imagined as some sort of devil. Edison's accomplishments are becoming ignored so that he can be presented as some bully who kicks over sandcastles and electrocutes circus animals. In my opinion, Edison is still a genius who deserves to appreciated along with Tesla. It's all become way too dramatic: Good vs. Evil. It's all such a Hollywood story of an unlucky underdog against a powerful business, and we end up caracaturizing both of them in a way that we would never do to other brilliant people of history. You have a good day, ma'am.
