Data Analysis

I read too much, and therefore my current obsession has changed again.

Now I'm experimenting with Data Analysis, Statistics, and other forms of data tracking. I'm currently performing a sort of statistical analysis against Gaia, giving statistics of its userbase, like most used words and favorite color and shit like that.

Anyway, what are you guys up to?

I was going to say this originally actually since I remember you mentioning this some time ago. You decided to take up on this after you got "bored" with web development I believe.

I was also going to pass along a few sentiments myself. Then I decided not to take the topic seriously since Flare is constantly shifting through things he wants to learn (and frankly he isn't going to learn much with that approach).

Well I would love to stick to one topic, but unfortunately there's so many interesting things out in the world. If I could, I think I would spend the rest of my life at college learning haha. But in all seriousness, I was actually looking at this as a job, I've been interested in stuff like this since I first got into computers. It seems extremely interesting to me. Data Analysis and Network Science are the two topics that I found the most interesting.

Data analysis is probably your safest bet, and it is applicable to the vast majority of sciences, so you should have no trouble at all finding a field you are interest in that you can apply your skills too.

But I am also assuming data analysis is highly related to/almost synonymous with experimental research, though experimental majors may focus more on design, though the analysis is still a requirement.
