You need to remember to start eating after the 11 days. If you don't you run the risk of developing an eating disorder.
REMEMBER: BE CAREFUL.
Gotcha. <3 and thanks so much :3 that was an awesome tip
I don't know that this applies to you or if Soul mentioned it but do not drink alcohol during the 11 days or for a while after. It won't kill you if you do, but you will wish it had.
I know. I drank like, five beers and half a bottle of rum the other day. while i was on that 300 cal a day thing. Epic hangover.
It's like you're trying to kill yourself, poppet. You have a brain, use it.
You definitely can't go from 300 calorie diet to 11 day fast either. Just sayin'. Maybe be normal for a week and then try it if you must.
Side note: You don't look like you need to be on a diet. Also I think you mentioned running to me at one point, which I used to run track and you need more calories than normal to be doing any sort of extended running.
Well good luck with that c: Just don't go anorexic! O:
In light of this topic, in other news who's heard of the recent deaths of the anorexic twins?
Pretty tragic if you ask me.
Not entirely true. I did this diet again in Afghanistan. I went from a very high calorie diet, roughly 5-6000 calories a day just to have energy for the next day. I went from roughly 6000 to absolute 0, for all 11 days. There were no energy drinks, only water. No soda, only water. Right after 11 days, I started eating low calories like I suggested.
Going to have to contest that not all diets work for all people. Especially considering she isn't even an adult yet. I honestly wouldn't suggest completely cutting out eating for 11 days.
Even not eating for a few days can make you feel ill. Not to mention the lack of energy she'll have.
In fact if you look into it you'll find things like so:

The Truth about "Starvation Mode"
Oh and let's not forget this super important fact.
Slower Metabolism
Your attempt to lose weight by consuming nothing but water can backfire in a big way. According to the Harvard Medical School Family Health Guide, any diet that is extremely deficient in calories causes the body's basal rate of metabolism to slow down. In other words, if your body believes that you're starving, it acts to preserve your chances of survival by slowing down the rate at which it burns energy. As a result, when you end your fast and begin eating again, you'll most likely start packing the pounds back on faster than ever before.
Normally I agree with you but this just seems like a terrible idea.
